music.
His music is concerned with quietness, tension and instability: delicate sounds that tremor and demand intimate listening.
Thurley received the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis for composition at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse 2018, and currently lectures at the University of Leeds, UK.
